3 Yapi Kredi employees who compete in athletics, swim and dart branches are supported by Yapi Kredi in 2009. Yapı Kredi supports personal development of its employees in this way. Achievements of these employees are announced by internal communication channels.
Emin Metin Aksoy
Emin Metin Aksoy who competes in athletism, is supported by Yapı Kredi in 2009;
• Competed in the 29. International Trabzon Half Marathon held on the 22nd of February, 2009 and placed 2nd among in the 40 to 44-year-old age category
• Competed in the 10. Atatürk Marathon held on the 1st of March, 2009 in Alanya and placed 1st in the 40 to 44-year-old age category.
• Competed in the Turkey Masters Kros Championship held on the 21st of March, 2009 in Eskişehir and placed first.
• Competed in the Turin Marathon that is sponsored by UniCredit Group (one of the main share holder of Yapı Kredi) in April and placed first in the UniCredit Group employees category.
Celal Altunbaş
Celal Altunbaş who competes in swimming, is supported by Yapı Kredi in 2009;
• Competed in the Masters Swimming Championship in Istanbul held by Turkish Swimming Federation, April 11-12, 2009 and took 2 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze trophies.
• Competed in the Istanbul Corporate Games held June 6-7, 2009 and placed 4th and 5th.
• Competed in the 3th Megisti-Kaş Swimming Competition held by Municipality of Kaş on the 28th of June, 2009 and placed 2nd in the 25 to 30-year-old-age category.
• Competed in the 3. Süleyman Erol Swimming Marathon held by Directorate of Youth and Sport in Antalya on the 1st of July, 2009 and placed 2nd in the 21 to30-year-old-age category.
• Competed in the Masters Swimming Championship held by Turkish Swimming Federation,July 11-12, 2009 in İzmir and took 5 gold and 1 silver trophies in individual.
• Competed in the 21. International Swimming Competition from Asia to Europe, held by National Olympic Committee of Turkey on the 19th of July, 2009 and placed 11nd in the 25 to 30-year-old-age category and placed 107th in general rating.
